Hello, my name is Douglas, and I am a senior media engineer working as a contractor in London. I am offering a large, spacious double room in a newly built, fully redecorated apartment located on a quiet street in Bow, in the heart of East London. The area is peaceful, set on a tranquil street with a wonderful sense of community. All local amenities—such as a post office, supermarkets, a street market, and a wide selection of takeaways—are just a five-minute walk away. In addition, the apartment is close to the London canal network, Hackney Wick, and Victoria Park, offering plenty of opportunities for leisure and outdoor activities.

The room itself is very large, providing an excellent space to live and relax. This lodging is ideal for a professional, aged between 30 and 45, working in the City of London. The room will be available from the 1st of August, and I am arranging viewings in the late afternoon or evening. Please contact me to schedule a viewing.

After a few months, I plan to take short trips across Europe—Spain, France, Italy—and thus, I seek a lodger who is dependable and trustworthy, as the flat will be in their care during my absences. This is a lodging arrangement, not a tenancy, with a six-month or rolling yearly contract. A small, secure deposit of £500 is required. I am looking for a professional who is down-to-earth, enjoys music, and values a balanced lifestyle, while also being able to enjoy all the best that London has to offer.
