Description
I have a spare room in my flat (that I own) that I’d like to rent on a mid-week basis to a considerate and quiet but sociable and professional female. My current housemate is moving out after 4 years to move back to NZ.
The flat is in Bow - near to Victoria Park (great food market!) and the Olympic Park, close to Bow Road tube and Bow Church DLR. Only 20 minutes to Canary Wharf, the City and Shoreditch. The room is a double, south facing so lots of light, fully furnished (including ottoman bed, so lots of storage). I have recently redone the bathroom so that's all lovely and new, and I've also recently replaced all the carpets in the flat.
There is an open plan living room (big TV, great sofa) and kitchen (new hob and oven, fridge/freezer and fully equipped), which is also south facing. It's also currently also my office so there is plenty of room for WFH requirements. I have so many books you could call it a library, as well as cupboards full of board games. There is a communal roof terrace/courtyard on my floor that I use when it's warm and sunny for yoga and sunbathing (big sun trap!). My block is really sociable too - I've made lots of friends and we often do dinner parties, film nights, park and board games, book club and go to the pub when we can.
As for me - I'm 39, love travel, tennis, running and SUP, do lots of Pilates , and I walk a LOT, so very active (currently in pre-training for a marathon). I love reading and a box set but also enjoy getting out and socialising. I'd really like a housemate I can be friends with and hang out with/drink wine with/cook with/watch box sets with. Generally so we're not strangers in the flat - definitely housemates and not your landlord (I hate that idea). I run my own business so I mainly work from home.
Rent would be £900 Inc bills per month for a Monday-Friday let.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Thanks
Amy
