We’re looking for a new flatmate to join our relaxed and welcoming three-bedroom terrace house in Bow. The location is great, just off Roman Road and only a ten-minute walk to beautiful Victoria Park or Mile End station.
The available room is on the top floor, overlooking the garden. It’s bright, quiet, and private, with a built-in wardrobe and shelving. The room comes unfurnished, though the current flatmate is selling her bed frame and mattress if that’s of interest.
The house itself is lovely and spacious, with a big kitchen and a cosy living room, as well as a garden that’s perfect for summer evenings. We also have a basement that’s handy for storage.
At the moment, there are two of us living here, aged between 35 and 38, both working in creative fields. We’re tidy and respectful, and we like the house to feel calm and homely. We’re hoping to find someone who feels the same and will treat this place as a home.
The tenancy officially starts on the 22nd of October, and we rent through an agency, so we will all be signing a new contract together. Agency request a minimum of £30,000 per annum to pass the reference test. Bills aren’t included in the rent and usually come to around £150 a month, covering council tax, internet, energy, water.
