Bright and Spacious Double Room in Bow

I’m looking for someone to take my double room with a private balcony in Ollerton Green, Bow! (No couples sorry!)

Rent: £866 per month

Bills: Average around £40 per month

Term: At least 3 months

Move-in date will be 28th February and I’ll be holding viewings on 12th, 13th and 15th February so drop me a message if interested 🙂

• South-West facing, so lovely and bright!
• 1 minute walk to the South-East corner of Victoria Park
• 13 minute walk to Hackney Wick station (Mildmay Line)
• 20 minute walk to Bow Road station (District and Hammersmith & City Line)
• 25 minute walk to Mile End station (Central, District and Hammersmith & City Line)
• 12 minute walk to Tesco on Roman Road
• 1 minute walk to Jodrell Road Local, a nice little essentials shop
• Good bus stops around the corner for routes to Central or Stratford
• No living room
• Washing machine, but no dishwasher
• Space in the hallway for 2 clothes drying racks
• Plenty of fridge and cupboard space in the kitchen
• Main entrance to building is fob-activated

This is a room in a 5-bed flat, with two bathrooms: one with a toilet only and one with a toilet and shower. You’ll be sharing with 3 guys and 1 girl, ages ranging from late 20s to 40s. They are a lovely bunch!

Everyone keeps themselves to themselves, but are sociable when cooking in the kitchen. Everyone keeps the place tidy, the kitchen is always spotless, everyone usually washes their pots immediately after cooking. All full-time workers. The flat is very warm, I’ve spent the winter in shorts and t-shirts!

There is a bike locker across the street which I can give you the code for.

You’ll also need to pay a deposit of around £980. The property is run by City Rooms agency so you’ll sign a tenancy agreement with them. You can decide the length of tenancy, as long as it’s at least 3 months! I’m basically moving out early, so you’re effectively taking over my tenancy agreement.
