Merci Beaucoup x**
We’ve got a cosy single room coming up in our flat from 26th or 27th April, and we’re looking for someone lovely to join the home on a permanent basis.
Sadly, our flatmate Mel is moving out, so we’re hoping to find a great new long term addition to the house.
The room is simple, comfy, and practical. It comes with a good bed, built in wardrobe and storage, and a desk for work or quiet evenings in. The room will also be deep cleaned before move in, so it’ll be nice and fresh for whoever takes it.
We share a spacious kitchen and living area where we cook, chat, and enjoy a relaxed home vibe. We’re also lucky to have two toilets, one upstairs with the bathroom and one downstairs, which definitely helps in the mornings.
Location wise, it’s ideal. We’re about 2 minutes from Victoria Park and close to the canal, so it’s great for walks, runs, or just getting out for some air. Roman Road Market, cafés, Tesco Express, and a 24 hour PureGym are all nearby too.
Transport is easy as well. Mile End Station is around a 10 to 15 minute walk, with Bow Road and Bow Church DLR also close by. The Bus 8 runs 24 hours and goes straight into Central London, including Shoreditch, Liverpool Street, Holborn, and Oxford Circus. Canary Wharf is also very easy to get to.
A quick note, I’m Joshua. I work in marketing and also run my own business. I’m currently away travelling for a little while, so Mel will be managing viewings and messages in the meantime. My room is currently being sublet until 10th June by Penelope, who works in recruitment and is, in her own words, a professional yapper haha.
🏡 The current flatmates are:
- Laura, who works in hospitality
- Tee, also in hospitality and very warm and bubbly
- Joshua, me, working in marketing
- Penelope, temporarily in my room until 10th June, works in recruitment and brings great energy to the flat
We’re a friendly, easygoing household and care about keeping the flat clean, calm, and comfortable. It’s definitely not a party house. It suits someone who likes having a friendly home to come back to and values a bit of peace, routine, and mutual respect.
We’re ideally looking for someone professional, tidy, respectful, and settled into a good work life routine. Someone who wants a proper home rather than just somewhere to crash.
