Hi!
My flatmate is moving out of our lovely home in Bow and I love this place so much I'd rather risk it with an internet stranger than have to part with it. Could YOU be my new favourite stranger?
I'm a busy extroverted trainee lawyer looking to share with someone who is:
- A woman / non-binary person (no men or couples please)
- Doing full-time work and has an employer reference available
- Clean, reliable, considerate and friendly (let's make this a happy healthy functional home)
- Expecting to stay long-term (at least a full year)
- Age 23 - 27 (this is flexible, just looking for someone roughly my age / life stage)
If that sounds like you, below are some more details about the flat, the area and me (please read in full before messaging).
If interested, message me with a little about yourself, and we can arrange a call / viewing sometime soon if it sounds like a good fit!
When messaging, please include your availability for a call / viewing - I can generally do Fridays, weekends and Mondays but need enough advance notice.

The flat:
- £2,050 PCM (excl. bills) - £1,000 for the room coming available, and I will be paying £1,050 for the bigger room
- Deposit is NOT £0! Just TBC as our current deposit (£2,365 for the whole flat) might be higher than what the new Renters' Rights Act will allow
- 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, kitchen and balcony with stunning view
- 7th floor (with lift access)
- Room comes furnished with at least a double bed and chest of drawers (rest of the furniture shown TBC). Can also replace the double bed with a single on request, if you'd prefer.
- Kitchen is fully equipped (incl. toaster, microwave, kettle, rice cooker) and has a washing machine and a dishwasher (now also a dining table + bench, photos coming soon)
- Living room now includes a desk + office chair, TV, bookshelf and a piano keyboard (photos coming soon)
- Heaters are electric (so no separate gas bill)
- Good ventilation (I, too, fear damp and mold and that's not been a problem here)
- Huge windows and lots of light (my plants are thriving)
- Property manager is lovely to deal with and quick to fix any issues
- Note: there is a viewing video from before we moved in I can send you, SpareRoom just won't let me upload it. The photos of the shared spaces are screenshots from that video (hence the quality), better pics coming soon!

The area (aka my pitch for why you'd love Bow):
- Great transport links to central London and beyond: Bow Road tube stop (Hammersmith & City, and District Lines; 10min walk); Mile End tube stop (also has Central Line, 15 min walk); Bow Church (DLR, 5 min walk); Hackney Wick (overground, 25 min walk or short bus ride); convenient bus stops all around; London Bow bus stop for National Express service to Stansted Airport (4 min walk)
- The flat is in E3 on a calm residential street just off Bow Road, with fun pubs, cute cafes and even a free art gallery
- Easy access to Hackney, Hackney Wick, Shoreditch and Dalston for fun nights and great food (got to love living in East London)
- Lush greenery close by - the canal is a 5min walk away, and we're a 15min walk from Victoria Park and Olympic Park
- Walking distance or short bus ride from Stratford
- Roman Road market is a 10 minute walk

About me:
- 24-year-old woman trying to survive law job hours and make the most of London life by prioritising friendships, fun plans and hobbies wherever I can fit them in!
- Extroverted and ideally looking for a friend as well as a flatmate, but also super mindful that everyone needs their space and alone time at home (very much including myself)
- You won't see much of me during the week but when home I love to cook (not just for myself), tend to my growing indoor garden, and host wholesome dinners & movie nights
- Work from home some Fridays, but otherwise the desk in the living room would mostly be yours to use if you prefer to work / study from home
- I like bouldering, thrifting, walks and (short) runs around the parks and canal (happy to show you around if you fancy getting into any of these!), getting back into reading, and will one day learn to play the piano im the living room (which you would also be welcome to use)
- Pretty desperate for sleep during the week and would need you to be mindful of that, but very sociable on weekends (always planning out and about activities with friends)
- Pescatarian (but mostly veggie in practice)
Note: this is an LGBTQI+ friendly, left-leaning, free 🍉 household! If that's not your vibe please scroll on
