Double room in new flat in Bow

Hello!

I have a double room in a new, 8th floor flat and am looking for a flatmate from 1 March.

Since the flat is on the 8th floor (no worries, there are two elevators!), the view is great. We get morning sun and can oversee Olympic park, and since the flat isn't close to any busy street, opening the windows is no problem.

The flat is off Roman Road, so close to buses and tubes, and, most importantly, amazing Victoria Park for walks, runs and brunch. Bus 8 (24h) takes you to Bethnal Green station in 5 minutes and Shoreditch in 10-15 minutes. Hackney/Broadway Market/London Fields are nearby - either by bus or a walk along the canal. Hackney Wick, which is a 10 minutes walk, is great for its cool bars and upcoming art scene. You can reach Bow Road Station and DLR Bow Church in 8-10 minutes. We have a big Tesco (Metro) downstairs in the building, too, so shopping is rain-safe.

Roman Road, and Bow, are great areas: There are lots of small cafes, shops and restaurants everywhere, so whether you want Pizza, Portuguese or Fish and Chips, you will find everything. The library is just downstairs. On top of this, a few cozy pubs are just around the corner.

There is a balcony, a big kitchen with all the amenities including washer-drier and dishwasher and a living room with a couch and a piano. Your room is very spacious, comes with a bed, with built in wardrobe, small bookcase and wooden chest. Lots of storage!

I am 28, working in a fashion/creative agency, and quite chilled and outgoing, although I respect privacy and personal space. I like cooking and sharing meals, but nothing obligatory! I like to keep the flat clean and tidy and am looking for someone who shares these values.
