Description
THE SITUATION...
My current housemate is moving back to Canada in the next month or two (no exact date as yet) so I am need of a new one!
THE FLAT...
The flat is located in Bow, about a 10 minute walk from Bow Church DLR station and a 10-15 minute walk to Bow Road underground station. Westfield Stratford City is about 20 minutes away and Victoria Park is really close too! Roman Road market is a short walk away and Co-op is just around the corner. It has two double bedrooms and TWO bathrooms - oh yes! The kitchen is a good size and opens out into the living room. There are wooden floors and light walls throughout the flat and we have the following exciting amenities:
* Sky (TV, internet and telephone)
* washing machine and dryer
* dishwasher
* microwave
* oven
* electric hob
* kettle
* toaster
* iron and an ironing board
* fridge
* freezer
...all the big ones!
THE ROOM...
The gorgeous double room is a great size and comes with a bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe. It has a nice, big window, wooden floors and neutrally coloured walls. As there are two bathrooms in the flat, you'd have your very own bathroom (pictured), which even has a heated towel rail!
THE CURRENT TENNANT...
Here's an alphabetical list of words, phrases and things that make me happy: bubble wrap, cheese, chocolate, crisps, dancing (well... bouncing about), ellipses, family, films, food (of the vegetarian variety), fried things, friends, lemons, lie-ins, musicals, pianos, power ballads, reading, singing (all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order), snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes, theatre, TV.
I'm a primary school teacher and have been teaching in a school in Tower Hamlets for the last 5 years. This September (ie. next week!), I will be starting a job as a Music and Performing Arts teacher - hurrah!
RENT AND BILLS...
The £696 PCM covers the rent and water. Other bills are paid separately and come to £247 a month (£123. 50 each):
EDF (£75 per month)
TV License (£12 per month)
Sky broadband (£45 per month)
Council tax (£115 per month)
AND FINALLY...
If you think that this could be a place to lay your hat and call your home, do let me know and we can arrange a viewing.
I'm a teacher, so available during the day next week, but then it'll be evenings and weekends only.
