Description
Our current flatmate is moving in with her boyfriend, so we're looking for somebody to take her place on the contract.
About the flat/room:
It's a 3 bed flat, with a decent sized living room, bathroom, kitchen and a small little outdoor area out the back. The kitchen can get a little tight with storage at times, but we've managed to make it work so far. You'll get this for a modest £650, plus about £100/month for bills. Deposit is about £800.
The room is light and spacious and comes largely furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and drawers, although if you wanted to pay to flog these and bring your own stuff then the landlord would probably be fine with that. If you WFH, you could also fit your own desk in there too.
Move in date is from 24th Sept, but there might be some scope to move sooner as the current flatmate doesn't want to be paying double rent. You'll need to go through some referencing with the letting agent.
About the area:
Situated on Myddleton road, which has a variety of local shops and cafes, about a 10-15 min walk from Bounds Green and Wood Green stations (Piccadilly line) and a 7ish mins walk to Bowes Park station (Train line to Moorgate/Stevenage). There are plenty of bus routes South from the main road, about a 3 min walk to the stop. Tesco Express is around the corner too. You can walk to Alexandra Palace in about 20-25 mins. It's a peaceful area, perfect if you want to escape zone 2.
About the flatmates:
You'll be sharing with Ian (does self employed creative things), Reiss (delivers value for shareholders). The general vibe in the house is we like to socialise over a coffee or drink and spend some time chilling over TV. We're all pretty busy during the week and have our own things going on, so we may not necessarily be around every day too. We're quite chill if you have mates/partners over sometimes, but we're definitely not a party house and we all like our sleep. We're looking for somebody to join into that mix and is also well versed with the art of house sharing.
We'll likely be looking for a female to keep the balance in the house. But not completely set in stone just yet, so will consider all for now.
