Description

Potentially a short let (see deets below).

You get TWO rooms as part of this deal: a bedroom with a double bed, and a front room that can be used as an office, dressing room, music room, exercise room, planning for world domination room - whatever you like. Both rooms are exclusively yours. Parking is available on street with a resident's permit. I'm 40 and looking to share with someone at least in their late 20s.

This flat would be perfect for you if:
- You like cats. (I have one. Previous cat shown in photos.)
- You like baking and/or eating baked goods. (I bake frequently, the kitchen is well equipped, and you'll at least be the beneficiary of the deliciousness it yields.)
- You play or aspire to play the piano. (The study has an optional piano. It can be removed if you don't want it. 'Twas my former flatmate's, but she didn't want to ship it back home, where she already has a piano.)
- You have a frequent need for retail therapy and/or midnight munchies. (There is Brent Cross Shopping Centre and a 24h Tesco nearby.)

This flat has the following oddities:
- The washing machine is hidden in a cupboard in your bedroom. That means occasionally, I'll need to use it. (When it's convenient for you.)
- There's storage in the bedroom, but the wardrobe is in the front room/study, due to the bedroom's slanted ceiling.
- I like to sing. It's an amateur hobby of mine (I perform regularly), so you'll occasional hear me practising (quietly).
- I'm also an actor. Might I ask you to read lines with me? It's possible. Extra cookies for you if you do.

I work from home every day, and although I've got lots of 'extra curricular' activities to keep me out in the evenings, I do tend to be comparatively early to bed. So it would be helpful (though not at all essential) if you work from the office at least a few days a week, and aren't some kind of hyper night owl. (Which incidentally is a great idea for a ornithological super hero.)

I would really like to find a person I get on with rather than just someone I pass by in the hall every day. Other than music, I enjoy videogames, watching numerous educational videos on YouTube, and a daily ritual of going out for a coffee with a book/magazine. I do (very fortunately) own the place but as far as I'm concerned, it's as much my flatmate's home as mine. Two of my recent flatmates (one male, one female) both came back to live here a second time. The latter lived here for five straight years and only left due to work, so I think my record speaks for itself :)

IMPORTANT DETAIL. I may in fact be selling the flat around November, but I'm not sure - it's really up in the air at the moment. Obviously if that happens, we'll both have to move out. (Don't think the new owners would take us.) But if it doesn't, then this rental is indefinite. I should have clarity on this by the end of September, if not before. Please acknowledge this in your message to me! If you don't, I'll assume you've not read the details and thus I won't respond. Thanks for understanding!
