Hey there!
We’re Kevin and Sergio, two housemates living in a lovely flat just off Brick Lane - one of the best locations for staying well-connected to the city!
I’m Kevin, a 28 year old freelance internal communications consultant working with clients in the charity sector. I enjoy going to the gym, running, travelling (recently did a 6-month trip to Latin America), history and advocacy. I’m looking forward to the summer day parties and festivals coming up!
Sergio is my flat mate, he’s a 37 year old Spanish guy who works as a digital product designer. He’s honestly the best flatmate I could have ever wished for. He loves to cook and take care of the plants in the house. Sergio has lived in the flat for 7 years which is a testament to how amazing the location is and the kind of life living by Brick Lane can give you!
We’re both quite social and share common friends and like to host dinners or pre-drinks now and again, but we’re not a party house.
We love specialty coffee, art, music, and occasionally going to gigs or raves. We’re both creative, curious, and enjoy chatting about our days, travelling, discussing politics, and sharing experiences.
We’re looking for a professional LGBTQ+ housemate to join the flat and match our relaxed and sociable vibes. The room is available from mid-to late may in agreement with our current housemate.
We’ve popped all the important information for the flat below! We’re looking to do viewings over this weekend (15 - 17 May) and will respond quickly to messages, so if you’re interested shoot me a message and we can arrange a viewing!
THE FLAT 🏡
It’s a 3-bedroom flat with a spacious living room full of plants, plus a balcony. You’ll be sharing with clean and friendly flatmates who enjoy cooking and sometimes go party. What more could you ask for in Zone 1?
THE ROOM 🛏️
A room at the front of the flat with a comfy double bed. It includes a double bed, two sets of drawers, and a desk, and gets lovely afternoon light.
THE KITCHEN 🥘
Fully equipped kitchen (new electric hob, oven, microwave, toaster, and washing machine), central heating, and a new boiler. It's small but it has everything we need.
THE LIVING ROOM 🛋️
A large living room with a sofa, sofa-bed, TV, dining table, and plenty of plants! 🪴 We enjoy keeping a cosy vibe, occasional Netflix night or shared dinner are always welcome. We’re also currently looking to replace some of the furniture to make the space even better.
BATHROOM & WC 🛀 + 🚽
The bathtub and sink are separate from the toilet.
THE ATMOSPHERE ✨
(The most important part — please read carefully before getting in touch!)
We’re looking for someone open who will help make this place feel like a real home. The new flatmate should be social and up for enjoying the flat and the occasional house shenanigans (no room rats, please!).
It’s important to be respectful, clean (the cleaning rota is not optional), tidy, and considerate of others. Previous flat-sharing experience is essential, along with empathy and a genuine desire to integrate into a friendly home.
We’re looking for someone mature, calm but still fun, who doesn’t skip cleaning shifts and helps keep the flat nice for everyone. Also, someone who understands that a greasy pan is not clean (if you get it, you get it).
If you value shared dinners and the occasional drink, this could be a great fit for you.
BILLS 💸
Bills are around £115 per month each (including council tax, electricity, water, gas, and internet), with slight fluctuations time to time.
We also have a great relationship with our landlord.
