We have a room available in our lovely flatshare located in central London, Zone 1. The room is available ASAP, due to a last minute cancellation of previous potential tenant. The room will be available for long-term rent starting from mid-October (available from 12 Oct).

Location
The flat is in an excellent spot, just off Brick Lane and only a 5-minute walk from Spitalfields Market. There are great transport links within a 5-10 minute walk, including Aldgate East, Liverpool Street Station, and Whitechapel. You’ll have easy access to the District, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Central, Elizabeth, Overground, and Metropolitan lines, as well as numerous bus routes. 🚌

• Room available: £1,250 per month
A larger room with a balcony, furnished with a bed, desk, chair, two chests of drawers, mirror, and wardrobe.
• Shared balcony with a view of the city and gorgeous sunsets 🌅
• Shared lounge, dining room, and large kitchen
• One bathroom
• Three bedrooms total
• Top floor (4th) with roof windows, making the flat bright and airy. It’s a newer flat with excellent insulation, so it stays warm in winter, and there’s no noise from the neighbors. The building also has a lift.
• Room is available from mid-October (12 Oct).

About your future flatmates:
You will move in with Chris (British) and Sylvain (French). Sylvain is moving in around the same time, so it will be a new household! Elise is sadly moving out but with Chris we’ve lived together for over a year now and often hang out—whether watching the Euros or movies, doing a pub quiz at the local pub, or sharing a homemade dinner. At the same time, we all respect each other’s space, as one of us is usually traveling or out and about. So we are hoping to create a similar experience!🍻

Chris works for the civil service while finishing his Master’s degree and Sylvain works in the city in Finance. We’re looking for a fun, easygoing flatmate to keep the same friendly vibe in the flat! We’d love to stay, but we’re relocating abroad, so we need to say goodbye to this lovely place.

We’re a chill, clean group who enjoy chatting and joking around. We keep the flat tidy and split cleaning duties for the common areas like the lounge, kitchen, and bathroom. 🧼

Landlord’s Requirements (non-negotiable):
Unfortunately, if you can’t meet these, we won’t be able to consider your application:

• You must earn at least 2.5 times the annual rent: £37,500. Otherwise, you’ll need to pay 6 months’ rent in advance.
• A deposit equivalent to about 5 weeks’ rent
• A £100 fee for the tenancy paperwork
• If you’re not a UK resident/citizen, you’ll need to provide your Right to Rent number from your visa
• Passport, email, and UK phone number
• Commitment to stay in the flat until at least August 2025
