Description
Hiya, sublet-seekers!
Subletting my East-London room from Oct 7 - Nov 7. Dates could be a little flexible for the right person.
It’s a large double with a king-sized bed, desk, and a wardrobe that will have shelves cleared out for you! 2 windows face out onto trees, a rarity in the hustle and bustle of central London.
The house has a large kitchen, a cosy (ie small but cute) living room, two bathrooms, and a gorgeous garden with seating and lots of fresh herbs. We’re right off Brick Lane on a quiet street, with easy access to virtually everywhere - a 15 minute bikeride to Hackney, and walking distance to Liverpool Street, Aldgate East, and Whitechappel stations. It’s a great spot if you’re visiting - enjoy the Brick Lane market, walk up to Columbia Road flower market, and check out all the nearby pubs and vintage shops. Equally a lovely spot to get set up for a longer stay in London - hang out with some locals and get a sense of the area!
You’ll be sharing the space with Kiran (28, graphic designer with a love for dogs, drinks, and sunshine), India (31, charity-worker and interior designer extraordinaire from Vienna), and Connor (28 year old civil servant, fan of a pub quiz and a nice bikeride). It’s a very social house, and there’s usually someone around to have a drink in the garden or watch a silly show.
Subletting as I’m heading away for the month. Due to the short nature of the sublet, I’ll be leaving most of my things - while making sure there’s some space for you to pop your clothes. Bed linens, towels, etc. will all be left for you to use.
I am coming back after my trip, so there is unfortunately not potential to extend the sublet.
Looking for someone fun and considerate, who cleans up after themselves and likes a chat over dinner!
Rent and bills together come to £915, which includes everything from council tax to electricity to a weekly box of fresh veg.
If you’re interested, pop me a message with a little about yourself!
Happy to consider a shorter stay as well, if that feels like a fit, but unfortuantely can't consider anything longer than the month.
All the best,
Sophie x
