Lovely Double Room 7 mins to Brixton Station

We live in a three bed flat on the top floor of a converted Victorian house 7 minutes walk from Brixton station and 10 minutes from Clapham North. Directly over the road is a huge Tesco on Acre Lane, plus everything else Brixton has to offer!

The room is furnished with a bed and good storage. The large bathroom, with a bath, is shared with one other housemate. We share an open plan kitchen/living room with gorgeous high-ceilings. The house is well stocked with kitchenware and food appliances.

The current flatmates are Ciara, who works for a literary agency and Holly, a midwife. We are friends and although we tend to be busy, we catch up with each other when home. It's a laid back, friendly atmosphere with occasional guests over for dinner or drinks but no pressure to socialise all the time. Ciara works from home 1-2 days a week and Holly's work is shift based. We are happy for the new tenant to work from home a couple of days a week but the space isn’t suited for someone who works from home full time.

Our lovely landlord Colin lives in Hammersmith and is always on hand to help. We also have a cleaner every two weeks which is £56 and the cost is shared between us.

We also regularly dogsit a lovely Jack Russell called Susan, so looking for someone who is happy with a dog frequently staying in the flat.

A long-term flatmate would be great! The rent is payable monthly in advance, with a six month Assured Shorthold Tenency agreement and a rolling contract after that with 1 month's notice from the tenant and 2 months from the landlord.
