Hey there! We are looking for a new flatmate for our three-bedroom victorian house in Brixton. You’d be living with two professionals- Laura (Swiss) and Gretta (American), who’ve lived in London for many years and have made Brixton and our flat a home!

A little about your room- you have the first floor to yourself, and the room comes with a double bed and mattress, two bedside tables, a bookshelf, two chest of drawers drawer, and a clothing rack. The bedroom window faces the backyard and gets loads of lovely sunshine in the mornings. The bathroom shared with Laura is also conveniently located on the first floor.

As for shared spaces, we have a bright living room with a comfy sofa and dining area on the second floor. The kitchen comes with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, and washing machine, and we each have our own kitchen cupboard space.

A little more about us: We both work full time, Laura is an Art Director and graphic designer, and Gretta is a financial analyst (but don’t hold that against her!) Laura currently works full-time from home while Gretta works hybrid from home and the office, so no matter your working situation, all are welcome! While we are respectful of personal space and like time for ourselves, we also really get on and enjoy sharing the occasional meal (Laura is an excellent cook, while Gretta makes up for her lack of cooking skills by making yummy cocktails), going for walks in Brockwell Park, or getting coffee at one of the excellent local shops in the area. We also keep the common spaces clean and are keen to find someone who appreciates and contributes to this lifestyle :)

We also love our location. We are a 15-minute walk to Brixton station (Victoria line/night tube, whoop!) and 5 minutes from Brockwell Park. There is a little Sainsbury and Tesco Express 5 min down the road and a big Sainsbury 10 min walk from us. We are also lucky to have some of our favourite cafes and shops right at the end of our road.

The rent is £648 per month.
Bills amount to approximately:
- £10 for internet pp.
- £13.48 for water pp.
- Average £60 for gas & electricity pp. (will likely increase, providers increasing rates)
- £53 council tax pp.
- The room will be yours until Dec 31st, 2024
