Hello,
I’m renting out a comfortable double-room in a modern flat in central Brixton (8-min walk from the Brixton tube.) The flat is at the end of a mews development off a busy road, so it’s quiet.
I'm looking for a minimum period of 3 months, with the option to extend. The tenancy agreement is in my name and on a rolling 2-month contract, and your name would be added as the secondary tenant.
The flat is super clean and comfy, one shared spacious bathroom and large open plan kitchen/living room.
The room comes fully furnished, double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bookshelf. Bills are approximately £180 each per month on top of rent. It includes, gas, electric, water, council tax (band D), TV license and broadband. The flat has everything you need so would suit someone who doesn’t have furniture or many household goods to bring. There isn't a huge amount of additional storage.
Security deposit is £850 and goes straight to the property management agent and into a deposit protection scheme.
The environment would best suit a 30+ professional and someone who has a weekly routine and treats the flat as a calm space to come back to at the end of the day - not a party flat. I work from home as I work remotely, so tend to only socialise on the weekends and keep my week nights chilled. I prefer keep the flat as a homely place to come back to and would expect the same from you. General tidiness, hygiene and mutual respect of the living space is SUPER important to me - so if this isn't you, we won't be a good fit unfortunately.
