Beautiful double, garden, own bathroom

Hello, looking for a housemate for my beautiful garden 2 bed 2 bath flat in Brixton hill starting flexibly anywhere from the 1st of February. It's actually a three bedroom flat, with one of the rooms used as an office. You will sharing with ONE other person. Me=). I have a newly adopted rescue dog and an adopted elderly cat, so if you've wanted pets but can't commit - this might be the perfect option. Or if you have pets of your own, it can be a great addition! Couples considered. As a whole the flat is rented out for £3000.

LOCATION

The house is located on a very quiet, nice road in Brixton with Brockwell park literally around the corner. Dead end, so no cars going past at all. Lots of coffee places and local grocery stores which make up the community. The neighbours are all lovely and we have become good friends. It's around 15 minute walk to Brixton station (Victoria line, basically the best line in London) or a 25 minute cycle to central London.

THE HOUSE

This is a charming Victorian conversion with high ceilings and plenty of character, ideal for someone who appreciates the quirks of an older building. It has a large well kept garden from the living room and a private patio opening up from your room - perfect spot for a personal veggie garden perhaps. The room is huge and the flat is super spacious, washing machine/dishwasher, all the good stuff. There are two bathrooms in the flat, with the bigger one being essentially YOURS as I have a separate shower and toilet in my room.

The room can be rented with the office space if needed, ideal for working from home folks. We can discuss during the viewing.

The contract would begin anywhere beginning with the 1st of February. The room is 1200 per month - bills not included. The deposit is 1100. Council tax band D.

YOU

I would love to find a person who would participate in the house and would want to occasionally connect over tea or film etc etc. I am considering renting to couples but the rent would have to be somewhere around £1500. Same with short lets. Preference to animal lovers!

HOUSEMATE (ME)

You would be sharing the flat with me (Ksenia). I am into sports, love cooking and plants. I have worked in lots of areas, mostly connected with film and art events, currently working full-time in a global educational charity and studying after work and weekends, so have less time until July. I am mostly vegetarian and eco conscious, great if you are too, but not a problem if not.
