Large double room with own bathroom

Hi! I’m looking for someone to take the second room in my beautiful Brixton flat from 1st December as my wonderful flatmate Rosie is moving in with her boyfriend.

About the room
You would be moving in to a large furnished double bedroom with its own built in wardrobe. Plenty of room for a desk as well as loads more (my current flatmate has managed to pack soo much in!). The room also opens onto a shared balcony which I love using in the summer time to catch the morning sun. Although not technically an en-suite you would also have your own bathroom as we have two in the flat!

About the flat
The flat itself is super spacious with a large living area that also opens onto a balcony facing the road (which is generally pretty quiet as it’s not a busy road). Amenities in the living area include; electric oven and hob (induction), large fridge and freezer, wine fridge (very bougie but we love it), dishwasher, two large sofas, communal shelves and storage. In the hall we have a storage cupboard and a washer/dryer. Downstairs there is also communal bike storage.

About the area
The flat is situated on a quiet road in Brixton hill. It takes about 5/10 mins to get to Brixton station on the bus (and there are buses every 2 mins basically) otherwise it’s a 15/20 min walk. There are a few small food shops within 5 mins otherwise there’s a large Sainsbury’s about 15 mins away.

I really love the area as it’s super easy to get to Brixton which is a lot of fun but it’s also pretty easy to walk to Clapham and Herne Hill (Brockwell park is about a 10 min walk)

About me
My name is Sophie and I’m a professional working in consulting. I’ve lived in the flat for just over a year and am really happy here (hence wanting to find someone great to fill the other room). I have my own life and friends in London like everyone else but would really like to find an amazing gal who I can get along with. When I’m in the flat I love to cook, chill out and watch tv with the occasional glass of vino (I really watch a range of stuff from movies to true crime docs to trashy tv so recommendations are welcome!). When I’m not in the flat I love exploring the area (always looking for new coffee spots) or spending time with friends.
I should also add that I probably work from home 2-3 days a week - there’s plenty of space for both of us to work from home at the same time as the rooms are pretty big.

The money stuff
Rent is £1150 per month
Bills have been coming out at about £100 per person the last few months.
