Double room in beautiful terraced house, SW2

Spacious and lovely double room available in beautiful terraced house in Brixton. The room has loads of natural light (two windows) and plenty of room for a working station, perfect if you need to work from home. It comes furnished with a really comfortable king size bed and wardrobe.

We are two professionals (two guys) looking for a nice housemate who appreciates a cozy, tidy and friendly house. The three bedrooms of the house are all on different floors, which gives everyone lots of personal space. We have a lovely open plan kitchen/dining room (with dishwasher) and huge lounge. The top room is en suite, so the main bathroom is shared between only two rooms (one of which is this room).

I live in Cornwall, and come down to London usually once every other week, to work in my workshop nearby making kitchens and furniture. The other flatmate, Will, works in the office most days, so if you're working from home you'll have the flat to yourself most days.

The location is excellent - a 20 minute walk to Brixton tube (although there are so many buses that all go to Brixton, you can easily get to the tube in 10 mins, not to mention Lime bikes) - and various overground stations. The Elm Park pub is a lovely local, less than a minutes walk away, with great food and a weekly quiz, and there are loads of great cafes within a 10 min walk on Brixton Hill. There's a great local community, almost all the surrounding streets have street parties in the summer! In the other direction we are only a 5 minute walk from the beautiful Brockwell Park (one of the best parks in London in my view!) and the Lido.

Rent including bills is £1240 per month. That is all bills (council tax, water, gas, elec, internet and tv license) and also includes a cleaner that comes once a week to do the kitchen, bathroom, landings and stairs.
