Hi! We have a big, bright and beautiful room in our Brixton townhouse from 30th June ☺️

Veggie/vg friendly.

The house:

A big terraced 4-bedroom townhouse split over three floors with lots of space and storage.
- 2 main bathrooms: with shower and bath.
- ⁠Additional downstairs WC.
- Large kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, two fridge-freezers)
- Lovely spacious living room
- Dining room - linked to living room
- Basement for storage & additional drinks fridge
- ⁠Lots of original features and character in the house.
- Garden and patio area

Accessibility:
There are two steps into the ground floor via accessible key height.
The room offered is on the first floor with one flight of 16 stairs with handrail. Bathroom is on the same floor with two steps in the corridor.

The location:
The house is on a really lovely, quiet no-through road for traffic. ❤️

Plus there is a street party in the summer to give you an idea of the community vibe here in our area.

We are ~5 minutes walk from the lovely Brockwell Park!

12 minutes walk, or 5 mins on the bus from brixton and the speedy Victoria line.

We also have a plethora of great bus routes at the end of the road and thameslink just up the hill.

The room:
it is the width of the whole house! plus 5 metres deep with huge windows - it would also make a great studio space for illustrators etc.

Financials:
The XL room £1375pcm +bills.
couples are welcome to apply.

On average, bills are very good considering the size of the property: £70-£100pp depending on the time of year.

References and proof of income are required.

We have a great direct relationship with the landlord. He is kind, communicative and attentive. We are looking for someone who appreciates this quality and can help us look after the house.

Dates:
Available from 30th June, though there could be some wiggle room for this right person/s!

The current contract (that you would be joining) runs until 1st September 2025.

Ideal housemates:
We enjoy a night out from time to time but are not a party house, so similar chill, balanced vibes is our ideal person(s).

Someone(s) in the similar age bracket ~29-39.

We are a clean-as-you-go household and collab on a general cleaning rota, so appreciate attentiveness in this area - no gross bathrooms or kitchens! =)

Good communicators and conscious respect for others and the collective space is a must.

Joey (they, them): is 35, professionally coaches partner acrobatics and works in events and community facilitation.
They also study neuroscience & psychology at King’s College, currently working in a brain injury hospital.
In no particular order, enjoys house dinners/games nights, movement practices, meditation, the outdoors, campervan adventures, baking, festivals, reading, being active, fab outfits, live music and learning.

Tessa (she/her): is 33, a primary school teacher who loves running, yoga and all sports. She is an active, bubbly person who finds joy from being in nature, living a vegan lifestyle and houseplants.

Ulla (she/they): is 29, an AI researcher with an interest in Alzheimers, and teaches linguistics at Cambridge. Loves live music, racket sports and being active.
