En-suite double bedroom in 2 bed 2 bath flat

Hi everyone,

I’m Emily, the current owner living in this 5-year-old Victorian conversion flat. It's very modern, well decorated and only a ~6 min walk from Brixton station (Zone 2), so easy to get about! I’m going away for a couple of months over summer and am looking for someone to take and look after my en-suite bedroom. Dates can be a little flexible.

You would be sharing with my lovely current flatmate Kanu who has the 2nd bedroom. She is clean, tidy and very friendly! She runs a startup and works 5 days a week either from home or the office.

Both bedrooms are at the back of the house, very quiet given the central location, and both with French windows leading onto a small private patio for plenty of light. Your ensuite room would come fully furnished and has large floor-to-ceiling built in storage, as well as a chest of drawers. There is a spacious, modern open plan living area, which opens up onto the private front patio via a set of French doors, perfect for outdoor BBQs. The kitchen has all the appliances (including a half size dishwasher and a stand mixer/ food processor if you’re into baking and cooking!) and the utility cupboard has a washer dryer. There is also a bike shed out on the front patio.

The flat is very convenient for food shopping - a Tesco superstore is across the street and Lidl is a 2 mins walk. There's also an M&S at Brixton station. The flat is a 5 minute walk from the Ritzy Theatre, a stone's throw from the Blues Kitchen and Barrio Brixton, so it feels very safe, and 5-10 minutes walk from some of Brixton’s best food spots, pubs, clubs and of course Brixton Village and Pop Brixton. Clapham North tube is a 14 minute walk, too. Around the corner is the fantastic Brockwell Park with Brockwell Lido and several great running routes. If you're heading to town, it's only a 12-13 minute direct tube to Oxford Circus.

Additional bills info: It’s £200 per month for bills per person, which includes a cleaner twice a month, fibre broadband, etc.
