Myself (Billie, 27, she/they) and existing flatmate Em (22, they/them) are looking for a third person to join our flat share in the top flat of a terraced house 5-10 mins walk from Brixton tube station on a quiet road. This would be a lodger agreement.
I’m half Croatian, work professionally in theatre and am completing a masters in creative practice. Em is a Japanese BA student and cosplays as a hobby.
The flat is not unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, it is on three floors and there is a narrow staircase at the very entrance.
The kitchen is the only communal area, but it is spacious with a table that easily fits three people and can be pulled out of a nook in the wall if needed.
There is a separate bathroom which is right next to the room in the ad, and toilet.
We’re a very chill household, will often hang out in the evenings (think herbal tea rather than wine most nights) but are very respectful of each other’s privacy.
We exclusively go outside to smoke and would not be happy about anyone smoking indoors or out the window.
We welcome pets!! (enthusiastically!)
The less fun bit- whilst we welcome professionals, it’s worth letting you know that my exiting flatmate and I are both full time students and therefore exempt from council tax. If you aren’t a student, you’d be eligible for 25% off, so if that works for you, works for us! The property is Lambeth band D.
