Lovely Victorian top floor flat in Brixton, just 7 minutes from Brixton Tube, Brockwell Park, Brixton Village and lots of bus stops. There is also a lovely local pub just round the corner (The Effra).
Double room available from 4th of June in flat of three. Furnished with double bed, and a chest of drawers.
The flat has a lovely bright and large living room with two sofas and large TV. The bathroom has a shower and bath. The kitchen is relatively large (for London) with small table and chairs.
The flat is on a very quiet residential road, and our neighbours are friendly. There is sometimes a little noise from the pub round the corner on Thursdays and Fridays.
ABOUT US
You’d be living with me (24) and my brother Spencer (28). We are both easy going and considerate housemates. I work as a computer programmer and my brother Spencer is a university lecturer. I work from home during the day in the living room and my bed room. Me and my brother are also in a band together and so will occasionally be on tour where you will have the full flat to yourself :)
We both use the kitchen to cook most nights, but also have many nights when we’re out and about - I have a girlfriend who is sometimes over, but equally I am often at hers. We often work on our own projects in the evening but do sometimes watch tv together or play Xbox. We both love music, movies and reading and have a good group of friends in London. It would be great to get a housemate that we can become friends with.
BILLS/REQUIREMENTS
Our landlord is lovely, professional, and responds to issues quickly. The new housemate would need to pass the tenant checks, so be employed/ have the right to rent in the UK. The room is £790 per month and bills come to around £130 per month each
LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a flatmate between 23 and 30. Ideally someone relaxed and tidy, who doesn’t predominantly work from home. If interested, please send us a message and we can set up a video call. I can also answer any questions and send more pics of the flat x
