Sadly one our lovely housemates are moving out so we have a double room free in our gorgeous home on Upper Tulse Hill. The house is let by a private landlord and was fully refurbished a few years ago and finished to an excellent standard. The house is so spacious and spread out over three floors. We have a lounge, a kitchen with breakfast bar and dining table, and French doors opening out onto the outdoor garden. We have a separate utility room, downstairs toilet and cellar. Upstairs we have three bedrooms and a bathroom with a waterfall shower. The further three bedrooms and another bathroom with a free standing bath and shower are on the floor above. The larger bedroom has an ensuite.
Location - The house is located on Upper Tulse Hill in between Brixton and Streatham. The walk into Brixton takes around 20 mins. It’s super easy to jump on a bus into Brixton and get the tube from there. Another plus is that we have Brockwell Park round the corner.
About us - The house is currently split between three girls and two guys (and ideally looking to keep that ratio so ideally looking for a guy). We are all young professionals who met on SpareRoom, and work in Central London. We all mostly wfh two days a week and are in the office the rest of the time. We get on so well as a house so are looking for someone who wants to make friends and form part of our home. If we are at home, we socialise in the evening, cooking dinner and watching tv in the lounge. We love the usual stuff of having people round for dinner, karaoke, pub quizzes and watching films on a hungover Sunday.
The room will be available 10th July.
The rent will be paid on the 1st of each month. Bills are paid separately, working out at £100ish each, including a weekly cleaner. A security deposit of 1 months rent up front. Although the Landlord is private (and is super nice!), the contract will be through a commercial agent, essentially taking over the contract and will then be able to renew when the time comes. The remaining housemates intend on staying here for the foreseeable future so we are looking for someone to join our gang who is looking for a nice home.
