Big Bright room in shared flat in Brixton Hill

Our flatmate Connor is unfortunately moving out 1st of July to a new place with some old friends so we’re looking to for someone to move in in the next month or so to take his place.

The Flat:
Lovely recently renovated Victorian ground floor flat. Super high ceilings with big windows making the place feel very spacious. Plenty of space to chill in the evening and work from home etc. Open plan living space with a large kitchen diner and living room connected, with a conservatory leading to the garden. We have sole use of the garden which even comes with a small shed.

The Room:
The room is fairly large and has direct access to the garden. It is currently Jayden’s room but he is going to be moving into Connor’s room when he moves out. As the flat was originally unfurnished, he is hoping to sell all/some of the furniture in the photos to whoever moves in (bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers). There is a family bathroom that you would share with Jayden as Tom has an en-suite.

The Area:
We’re on a really quiet street in Brixton Hill so there is never much if any noise from outside. We’re about a 10-15 min walk from both Brixton and Clapham North tube stations. There are also lots of buses from Acre Lane, Clarence Ave and Brixton Hill that will take you most places you need to go only a short walk away. Being in Brixton Hill means that you’ve got everything that Clapham, Brixton and Herne Hill has to offer including all of the coffee shops/bars/pubs/restaurants and both Clapham Common and Brockwell Park only a short walk away. There’s a Sainsbury’s local at the end of the street, Lidl, “Big Sainsbury’s” and a “Big Tesco” about 5-10 mins walk. There is also a Jetts, Anytime Fitness and other gyms within 5-10 mins walk.

Housemates:
You’ll be living with Tom (Irish, 31) and Jayden (New Zealander, 29). We met originally through SpareRoom in our old house in Clapham before moving into this flat over a year ago. Both work 9-5 Monday-Friday, mix of at home and in the office. Friendly and outgoing but we’re also respectful of each other’s space.

We’ve become good friends as housemates so are sad to see Connor leave so would love to find someone who wants a home as well as a house. Fairly chilled vibe in the week watching TV shows (such as Below Deck, Vanderpump Rules to name a few - don’t judge us) etc and then going out/having BBQs in the garden etc on the weekends.

Bills come to around £125-150 a month and include: gas, electricity, internet, council tax and water.

Deposit is £1230.
