Double Room to Let in Brixton

Flatmate wanted!

There will be a double-bed bedroom coming available to let/rent from 7th July 2024, as I am moving out to get our own place with my girlfriend.

On a quiet road only a 10ish minute walk from Brixton station, and a 1 minute walk from a big Sainsbury's it's in a great location. Some good bars / pubs in walking distance too!

The room isn't huge but does have massive built-in wardrobes all across one end to store all your stuff in without cluttering the room. So it's big enough as long as you don't need a desk in there.

There's a shared living room, kitchen and bathroom. There is also a cool shared garden out the back, shared with the other flats in the blocks, really good for socialising in the summer. There's also a cleaner that comes now and again paid for by the landlord John (who has been super easy to deal with).

The room is £875 per month + bills, which seem to come in a bit over £100 per month at the moment. (We all share responsibility for paying a couple bills each then divide them up equally, so you may have to take a couple on after moving in).

Current flatmates are Issy and Joey, 24 and 30. Issy works in sustainability and Joey horse racing TV. They both are out with work a fair bit, but we're a sociable flat when we are together and would like someone similar! It's very relaxed in the flat with everyone just chipping in and sharing jobs and getting the bits for the flat etc. They are both lovely people and sound to live with, and I'm not just saying that because I have to.
