We’re on the lookout for a new housemate as our current flatmate is sadly leaving us to move closer to his mates up north in London So we’ve got a double room available in our lovely shared house.
About the room:
- furnished with double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe
- plenty of space for a desk
- window which looks onto the garden
About the house:
- huge recently renovated Victorian house
- good social space with pool table, flat screen tv and comfy sofas
- garden to host bbqs
- 2 bathrooms with showers
- modern kitchen with new appliances and a large dining table (2 large fridge-freezers)
- we have a spare room for guests!
- 10 min walk from Clapham North station, Brixton
- 3 min walk to Lidl, 5 to Tesco superstore
A bit about us:
We all met on spare room this time last year and have become close friends. We enjoy spending time together from hosting bbqs on the weekends to morning coffee trips (so many to chose from nearby!) Jack is 25, originally from France, an engineer who enjoys staying fit by playing basketball and going gym, great cook and the designated bbq’er. Emily, 23, is a merchandiser who enjoys spending her off time cooking, drinking wine (with Em) and exploring London with her friends. Emily, also 25, is a PA but studied interior design in London. She enjoys shopping, going out for drinks, spending time with her friends and most importantly baking banana bread for the house.
Who we’re looking for:
Someone who’s clean, respectful of the mutual space, social and outgoing and wants to spend time with the house. Someone who works hybrid or full time in the office. Preferably male to keep the balance. No smokers/couples/pets.
The boring stuff:
- rent is £1100/month, bills come to around £150/month, deposit is £1523
- you need to be able to provide the following to the letting agency: the right to rent in the UK, income of at least 2.5x annual rent share (or UK guarantor), a positive landlord reference if currently renting, no history of adverse credit and complete referencing checks
