The room
Large double room available in five bed house in central Brixton. The room has lofty high ceilings, a garden view and fireplace. The room is quite quiet as it's at the back of the house and you don't hear any of the noise from the street.
The house has a big kitchen, large back garden, living room, one toilet and one full bathroom.

The room is furnished with a bed, small table, bedside table, two bookcases , wardrobe, bedside table and chest of drawers. The open wardrobe in the pics belongs to the current housemate.

Please note that the house is a bit aesthetically tired and not new or modern, hence the low price. The room is currently at £685, but the landlord is looking to raise this in the coming few months. This is currently under discussion.

The area
The house is in a sick central location, five mins away from Brockwell Park, Effra Social and Hootenanays. It’s a very quick walk into central Brixton and the tube (from person experience this can be done in five mins if you’ve overslept and are late for work ) where you have pop Brixton and Brixton Market etc etc. There are loads of gyms nearby and festivals where you get cheap resident tickets at Brockwell Park in summer. The lido is also a great summer amenity.

About us
There are five of us currently living here, two couples (one in the large room and one couple have two rooms - bonus points if you can correctly guess the two couples in your message). We are lgbtqia friendly, enthusiastically burn stuff in the garden and sometimes host the occasional party. We all have our own lives but come together with our respective friends for the football and the odd pub trip, and would love a good natured housemate who would also like to join this dynamic.
