Hello! After 2+ amazing years in this room, I’m relocating home to the US and seeking a replacement tenant to take my place in one of the best flats in SW 🤠!
Perfect for a young working professional, and you’ll be living with my flatmate and friend Georgie who is a 27 year old working professional from England, and is a Junior Doctor for the NHS (she’s on the right in my profile pic). In our time here we’ve made use of the great space and have had BBQs as well as chill nights in the garden. She is a great person who will give you your space but equally is very friendly and happy to grab a pint and get to know you!
🔑Available - 24 October/ before the November rent is due (which is October 26) so you’d pay and be here for November. Open to some flexibility on this!
📌£: The rent is £1100/mo, paid before the 26th of each month. Bills aren’t included in the rent, on average they’re pretty standard (£130-£170/mo) covering WiFi, council tax (Band C), water, gas, electric depending on usage.
You would pay a deposit when signing the lease as well, which is protected of course. The deposit is £1153.85, which is 5 weeks rent of £1000 (was the original rent when I signed in 2022).
📌The flat: The property is a Victorian terraced house right on the border of Brixton and Clapham, 2 bed, 1 bath, shared living room, shared kitchen, a basement cellar (amazing for storage!!!), and a LOVELY garden! After living here for 2 years I can say that the neighborhood is great and very safe, and also the neighbors are awesome which is always a plus! Access to the garden from the kitchen / back door, and also from your room!
📌Location:
🤍Tube - 7 minute walk to Clapham North station (Northern line) & 15 minute walk to Brixton station (Victoria line). Amazing for commutes and really any tube journey as both stations are super close to home!
🤍Bus - 5 minute walk to multiple bus stops (35, 37, 355, 137…), and 10 minutes to even more (59, 133, 159…)!
🤍Walk - Walkable to both high streets (Clapham & Brixton) depending on which direction you take, 10/15 mins to get there. Clapham Common is also 15 minutes on foot!
🤍Overground - 10 minute walk to Clapham High Street station.
🤍 Within 15 minutes walk from numerous bars, restaurants, shops (Lidl 1 min walk, big Tesco 5 min walk!!), Clapham Common, and nightclubs (Infernos & Two Brewers 12 min walk…🪩).
📌The room: Furnished with a double bed (that includes great storage drawers built in!), and I have a standing closet rack that I am more than happy to leave for you free of cost.
