Nice room for rent in the heart of Brixton. I am looking for someone to replace me on the contract as I move in with my partner.
The flat is on a very quiet road, right behind the Ritzy, only a two-minute walk away from the tube station and from Brixton village, which has all the restaurants and bars you could need. There is a Sainsbury next to the tube station, and a big Tesco five minutes away. The area is very well connected with the tube station (Victoria line) right around the corner, a train station with direct service to Victoria, as well as many buses. The Northern line isn’t far, with Stockwell being fifteen minutes away by foot, and Loughborough Junction station (Thameslink) is also nearby.
Enjoy a room with wardrobe, mirror and bedside table included, as well as a spacious kitchen and living area. The bed and mattress are mine but I can sell them to you for £100.
You’ll be living with Maxime (he/him), a really nice civil servant and teacher from France who is extremely sociable and likes to party occasionally but isn’t a party animal. We have been living together for four years, and he is often around and happy to hang out on weekends but usually keeps to himself on weekdays as he has quite a busy work schedule. We enjoy having a pint, watching a TV show or a movie, or going out to a pub down the road on the occasional weekday or weekend.
The flat is managed by an agency which is usually extremely responsive and efficient.
The bills (Council tax, water, gas, electricity, broadband) come to roughly £150 a month.
We will be arranging viewings on the week starting 11/11/2024, and I am looking at moving out on the weekend of the 30/11/2024.
The flat is LGBT+ friendly. It is located on the third floor of a building with no lift. Pets are not allowed as of now.
