Description
Hi everyone!
Sadly our flatmate is moving out of a small double room in Brixton for £480 pcm + £100 bills.
It's a four-bedroom flat with two bathrooms (two showers), a kitchen, balcony and access to a communal garden (see photos!). The flat is a 15 minute walk from Brixton, with a bus stop right outside our gate which goes into Brixton as well as into South-central London (Kennington, Elephant & Castle, etc). We also have a gym 5 minutes' walk from the flat. It also has a balcony and communal garden which is great for BBQs in the summer!
The room is small but has ample storage with a clothing rack and a chest of drawers, as well as under bed storage. I think the room is perhaps better suited towards someone who works away from home, although you can of course use the shared living room to work from if this suits you. You are welcome to remove any of the furniture to make room for your own - eg replacing the chest of drawers with a desk. The lounge is often free and used by Damien and Adam to work from home when convenient. We're flexible and give each space and/or company as needed.
These are the people you’ll be living with:
- Ads (he/him): Adam is a rap artist who also works as a private tutor. He loves music of all genres, football, travelling and reading.
- Damien (he/they): Damien is a singer/songwriter who currently studies music production at uni. He enjoys gigs, art and fitness.
We’re all kind and creative people who are looking for
someone fun, respectful, and reliable.
Although, we have our own friendship groups and busy lives but we all chat to each other in the chat. We care about each other, and enjoy a joke between us - our next flatmate would be looking for the same dynamic.
The rent for my room is 516 a month and bills are approximately 100 each a month, we do our best as a household to keep this cost low. The contract is up for negotiation again 1.5 years; last time we managed to get the rent raise lowered to a modest amount. A regular cleaner is included in the bill. Council Tax band: A.
There is a mini Tesco seconds from our building for essentials, as well as bigger Sainsbury’s and a Lidl nearby. Room is furnished but items can be removed or changed with permission from the property manager. This flat is a queer friendly space. Room is empty and available from now.
We look forward to meeting you!
