Large double bedroom in Brixton

The flat is in an amazing location in Brixton, 5 minute walk to the Brixton tube and to Brockwell Park. LOADS of things going on very close by - nice pubs, Brixton market, the Ritzy cinema.

You would be living in a ground floor 2-bed in a really quiet location, with nice neighbours and views onto a garden. There’s a big kitchen with a washing machine and dishwasher, and a comfy living room with two sofas and a dining table. The shared bathroom has a bathtub.

Your room itself is furnished with a double bed, and is the larger of the two bedrooms. It’s a bright room, with lots of storage, and space for a desk (although there are tables in the kitchen and living room to work from as well).

Rent is £950, and bills come to £250 each (incl a twice monthly cleaner, netflix, amazon prime, council tax, water, wifi, energy).

A bit about me: I work in journalism and am looking for a roommate who likes their own space, but could also watch period dramas together on Sunday evenings. I love reading and cooking to unwind, and having a nice peaceful environment to relax in at home. I’m not a big partier, but love to have friends round and entertain in small groups. I also play the harp!

I will also probably be adopting a dog in the next few months!
