10-15 minutes by bus away
Description
Large room available within a mixed house share, in SW London (Brixton-Streatham Hill) with all bills included in the monthly price, with two major tube stations being only 10 mins away on bus.
- - - About The Room - - -
Room is based on the second floor of the house, and is sun-facing; comes with bed and mattress, two massive built-in wardrobes with additional storage space both within and above. I’ve also included photos from what the room previously looked like for all those leaning towards a more minimal layout.
There’s 4 bathrooms in total, meaning that you’d only be sharing your bathroom with 1 other person.
Deposit (6 weeks): £1230
Earliest move-in Date: Saturday 25th / Sunday 26th January 2025 (possibility of Thursday 23rd onwards)
Send us a message with some information about you to arrange a viewing! We’d love a chin-wag in person if possible, but online also works :)

Large living room with two sofas and a Smart TV with all the trimmings. Large kitchen with two hobs and two ovens, fridge, freezer and other appliances.
Large garden with patio, bbq and shed, perfect for summer! There are two people on each floor, so lots of space / no tripping over each other when cooking / generally.
Basement for storage, along with utility room complete with washing machine and *two* tumble driers - boiler room right next to it for delicates / non-tumble garms.
Comes with BT Complete Wifi, with one of the wifi extension discs in your room / main wifi hub directly below you so no issues with internet connection.
- - - The Household - - -
We all work various jobs mostly working normal Monday-Friday 9-5 jobs, with varying WFH days. There are 8 in total (including you) with an even mix of gender aged between 23-33. It never feels crowded as there are 4 floors!
LBGT+ friendly.
- - - Travel - - -
The house is slap bang between stations for:

- Streatham Hill (South West)
Excellent connections bus wise, two of which taking you straight to central on both day and night bus routes.
- - - Groceries - - -
Tescos - end of the road
Sainsbury's + 24hr shops (x2) - 5 min walk radius
Lidl, Aldi, Marks + Sparks - 15 min walk radius
Big Tescos + big Sainbury’s - 25 min walk radius.
Plenty of other bits on Streatham high road
(longest high road in Europe woi oi)
- - - Personal note - - -
It’s bittersweet as while I’m excited to move with close friends, I’ve lived here coming up to 6 years now and in the 14 years I’ve been living in London, this is the longest I’ve opted to stay in one place due to the caring, thoughtful and lively ecosystem within the house (and obviously the rent).
While being quite sociable, there is absolutely zero pressure or expectation to socialise or hang out if you’re having one of those days / weeks / months. Equally, it’s a proper knees up when the time calls for it (absolutely not a party house though).
Additionally the landlord is a rare gem amidst London’s typical reputation for landlords, which has also heavily has factored into how long I’ve stayed here - and he's pretty on-it when it comes to any form of repairs or queries. We strive to maintain a stellar relationship, which I imagine reflects in the price not being astronomical when compared to other prices, before you’ve even added bills.
- - - Bonus Tip - - -
Inject a little personality into your message: simply “is this room available” will almost definitely be straight up aired. Cannot express this enough :)
