Looking for a new housemate in our lovely Brixton house as I'm relocating to France for a job opportunity - this house is so nice and I'm sad to be leaving it!
The bedroom comes furnished with a double bed, bedside table, dresser, wardrobe and an additional storage shelving unit. It is located in the back of the house, so it is quiet from any road noise, and gets so much sunlight during the day!
The bonus room is a private office, perfect for WFH and more storage, a rare find in London!
We have a shared living room and bathroom, spacious kitchen (redone in 2020) and lovely backyard garden.
The house is about a 12 minute walk to Brixton Station, and plenty of bus routes 1 minute from the house. Street parking available with a permit.
Looking for someone to move in around the 4th of January (subletting from me for around 2 weeks) before being officially on the lease starting 19 January. The lease is until September 19th with the option to renew. Total rent is £941 per month for both the bedroom and office plus bills (wifi/electricity/council tax) which come to an additional £100ish a month. We are in the Lambeth council tax bracket. Security deposit is £900, with £300 of that to be paid as a holding fee, the additional £600 to be paid at least 10 days before moving in.
We're all very social and enjoy having communal dinners, going for a drink at our local, or just chilling in front of the TV. We're a 10 minute walk from Brockwell park, 20 minutes from Clapham Common, and always enjoy a little lunchtime walk when we're WFH.
We're looking for someone who is wanting more than just a houseshare - as we've all become friends with our housemates over the years and looking for the same thing in our new housemate.
