Description
Lovely master bedroom in Herne Hill available from 3rd Feb in spacious shared house, split over three floors with a garden 💐
The house is right next to Brockwell Park (perfect for lunch time walks or a brave swim in the lido!) and a 10-15 min walk from both Herne Hill and Tulse Hill stations, so it’s well connected to a lot of central stations and about a 20 min walk/10 min bus to Brixton for the Victoria line.
The room is the master bedroom which shares the family bathroom (shower and bath) with two other housemates. The room is unfurnished, but it does have significant in-built storage for clothes etc. with original wooden floors and plenty of natural light 🌞
Shared space in the house includes a spacious lounge, kitchen, dining room, storage room and garden that's great for hosting in the summer (we're still getting to grips with the BBQ so any advice would be welcomed!) 🔥
The housemates:
We are 3 females in their late 20s who have been in London for 6+ years. We're a mix of uni friends and spareroom meets, and we're looking to find someone who has their own things going on in London, but would also like to join in on our evenings watching some questionable TV (current watches are Below Deck, Made in Bondi & MAFS). Here's a little bit more info about us...
Alanna, 29: Works in PR, will often be found on the Pelaton or in a pilates class. Loves country music, making delightful dinners & is THE most organised person I know!
Nicole, 28: Works in events, mainly within sports. Can tell you anything you want to know about Wimbledon and will persuade even the most dubious to come to a rugby game. Also our resident baker for all of your birthday baked goods needs!
Beth, 29: Graphic designer for a jewellery brand. Often found at the Lido (when it's not 2 degrees) or at an Arsenal women's game. Big advocate of keeping the various house plants alive and buying yet more candles that we probably don't need.
We do a mixture of wfh/office work & the bedroom has plenty of space for a desk. Generally the house is a chilled space to spend evenings at home outside of our busy schedules, but we're also not opposed to the occasional house bbq/gig/or trip to a rugby or football match (mainly women's). We like to take care of the house, and it's unusual that there won't be at least two vases of flowers downstairs at any given time.
All communication direct with the landlords who are super helpful and responsive. We love to keep the house tidy & homely, so we have a cleaner who cleans shared spaces and bathrooms every 2 weeks.
The important bits:
Available from: 3rd February 2025
Rent: £1,100 + bills (around £150 total a month, some paid monthly / quarterly)
Deposit: £1,096 to be paid to exiting tenant, contract names will be updated
Flatmates: 3x girls in their late 20s
Area: Herne Hill is a vibrant and chilled area of SE london, with lots of coffee shops, pubs, Brockwell Park and the Lido + a lovely market on Sundays. Great connections to other areas around the South and Central via train or Brixton tube.
Any questions at all, please just drop us a message x
