Double bedroom available in 3 bed maisonette in brixton. The room is available from end of February 2025 (when the current contract ends) Our lovely housemate Molly is leaving to travel the world after 4 years living at the adress and we are looking for a 3rd flatmate :)
About us:
You'll be sharing with Hannah who works in audio and my self an
architect/artist. We are both in our mid to late 20s and easy going, clean and friendly. We have both lived in the flat over a year and keen to stay longterm. We both like cooking and occasionally going out to the pub, its a very cozy and friendly home. Looking for someone social to add to the vibe. In our off time Hannah is a big F1 fan and i enjoy everything from gaming/boardgames. (The pics of my room will give it all away) :)
About the Room:
I will be moving into Mollys room so you'll be taking over my room at the end of the tenancy. The room itself comes fully furnished and is a really good size, with lovely hardwood floors and gable end ceiling with roof lights. There is lots of storage and shelving space as you can see from the images, it really can be customised to be cute and cozy. The low ceiling height isnt too much of a issue as the size of the room makes up for a lot of floor space.
The Flat:
The flat has a large kitchen/living room area with lots of storage, new fridge and dishwasher. The flat also benefits from having a balcony, which is great for bike storage if needed and is lovely to sit out on in the summer and host dinners for friends. The location is ideal - 10 minute walk to both Brixton and Clapham North tube stations, as well as having lots of shops, cafe’s and bars nearby. Rent is £883 pcm and bills tend to be around £100 each in summer and £120 each in winter. The flat is managed by the landlady, who is really responsive and quick to sort any repairs.
Who we are looking for:
As mentioned this is a cozy home and Hannah and I both take pride in keeping it tidy and feeling like a home. we are looking for someone long term, clean, social and to add to the lovely chemistry in the house, and occasionally hangout together. We are an inclusive household with no preference in gender or sexuality - all welcome!

Regarding the deposit, You'll pay the deposit to Molly whos moving out and then the rent goes to our landlady over bank transfer :)
