Homey Brixton Hill House

I'm looking for a new flatmate to take a lovely double bedroom in a modern and homey flat in Brixton Hill. The flat is available for on a 6 month contract, with the option to extend for a further year.

The flat has a bright open plan living space and kitchen area leading to a balcony and is situated off the main road (Brixton Hill) meaning it is very quiet and overlooking the big trees and shared green space. The flat is modern (around 5 years old) so everything is new and functions very well and efficiently including underfloor heating. The double room has loads of functional storage and is very bright. Note that the bedroom is unfurnished.

The location is amazing and one of the best things about the flat - it's a 10 minute walk to Brixton station (Victoria line) and a 10 minute walk to Brockwell park. It's so easy to get into Brixton but it's outside of the hustle and bustle in more of a calm area. There is a small sainsbury's directly opposite and a large one down the road. Herne Hill is a 15 minute walk away through the park and has lovely pubs for Sunday roasts, restaurants and a sunday market.

About the staying flatmate - I'm 30 yo professional working in social research. I would describe myself as a sociable introvert - I love people and have lots of friends/a busy social life but I also enjoy relaxing at home watching trashy TV and chilling. I love to travel, go to yoga and meditation classes, exercise and see friends. I also like to keep the flat clean and tidy so it's a nice place to live.

I really love the flat and living here! Since it's a two-bed flat, I'm looking for someone friendly to share the flat with, who has a compatible lifestyle and interests. I get on really well with my current flatmate and I think that's key to having a lovely comfortable home so I'm definitely looking for a good dynamic!

In terms of working patterns, I generally work in the office 3 days a week and I would ideally find someone who is more office-based as well
