Double room in comfortable Brixton Hill flat

Hi, I’m Luke and I’m looking for a new flatmate to join me in my flat in Brixton Hill. My current flatmate is moving in with his girlfriend from the end of May (sad for me but happy for them!) and so we’re after someone to take his place in our warm and comfortable home.

The room is a well-sized double with a fitted wardrobe. We have a large living room and kitchen area with plenty of light from lovely bay windows. It’s always a great space to come back to after a day at work and also perfect for socialising. Bills vary between £140 to £170 per month. Our landlords are two brothers who respond quickly whenever necessary and have looked after us well since moving in last year.

We live in a friendly road with great amenities and a lovely tucked away local pub (Elm Park Tavern) within a 5min walking distance. Brixton station is only a 5 min bus ride away. Brockwell Park is just a 10 min walk away too - perfect for Sunday trips to Herne Hill market!

I’m an economist in the civil service, typically 2-3 days a week wfh vs in Westminster. I’m into music, travel and sports - I’m also into running having completed a marathon last December and have the Hackney Half marathon in mid-May. I’m also interested in politics, but don’t worry, you don’t have to be! And I like to go to the pub for a few drinks, though equally like chill nights in and watching Netflix.

I’m looking for a flatmate who can also make this flat their home, who’s up for hanging out from time to time but also respect an individual’s space.
