Description
My best mate is moving out, so I’m looking for a new flatmate to take over her tenancy. Move-in date is flexible, end of Sept/ early October.
The flat is lovely, freshly renovated, and spread over two floors with a HUGE private garden. It's also right next to Brockwell Park—turn right outside the front door and you’re there! It’s honestly gorgeous in the summer.
The room is a good size, super bright, and overlooks the garden. It will come unfurnished, although option for the current four-poster bed to stay should you like it! There is TONNES of storage around the house, so many cupboards, and there is also a rail already fixed within the bedroom. The bathroom is shared, but again - huge! And has lots of storage in a cupboard within it also.
You’ll be living with me, Flo, and my little King Charles Spaniel. She’s ridiculously friendly and loves cuddles, so being a dog lover is a must. She comes to work with me and is fully my responsibility.
I work hybrid—three days in the office, two from home—so ideally I’m looking for someone with a similar setup or someone who works full time from the office. I’d love to live with someone who’s up for a glass of wine or a pub trip, but who also has their own thing going on.
The flat has been fully furnished by me, from appliances to furniture, so I’m hoping whoever moves in treats the space and everything in it as if it were their own!
Transport: Brixton station is a 15–20 minute walk (or 3–5 minutes on the bus).
Herne Hill is just 10 minutes away through the park.
Bills: Bills are £200 a month (less during the summer) and this covers everything—gas, electricity, water, Wi-Fi, council tax (band D), TV, a cleaner twice a month, and all the shared household bits from cleaning products to kitchen cupboard essentials.
Rent & tenancy takeover: The rent is £ 1,240 per month, and the deposit will be equivalent to 6 weeks' rent. There is also a £50 name change charge.
