7 Month Sublet in Bright Clean and Friendly House

Hello! I am off on a seven month fellowship abroad, which is exciting except for the fact that I have to leave my lovely house and beloved housemates behind!

I'm looking for someone clean, responsible, and friendly to sublet my room from 4 November 2025 - 30 May 2026. Dates can be somewhat flexible--I leave on 3 November, but can pay prorated rent if you need a slightly later move-in date.

Rent is £801 per month plus £125 for bills, which includes council tax, water/gas/electric, shopping for household items (soap, paper towels, etc.), and a fortnightly cleaner who tackles all the shared areas and bathrooms.

You'll be living with four working professionals and one student between 28-33 years old – one couple and three singles – all easygoing, respectful and social. We hang out when we can but also retreat to our rooms when we need some alone time.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen and lounge and a gorgeous outdoor space, and is just a 7 minute walk to Brixton tube station, with great access to shops, parks, and local pubs.

You will enjoy the benefits of my nicely furnished room, which includes a wardrobe, two dressers, clothes rail, bed, bookshelf, desk, and armchair. I'll put most of my belongings in storage, but I'd be happy to leave behind some of the art and plants if you wish, or anything else that would be useful. You'd sign a sublet agreement and leave a deposit to cover any damage to the room and/or furniture, but provided nothing is broken or damaged it would be returned to you in full in June.
