Double Room in LGBT-Friendly House – Between Clapham & Brixton

Hey everyone! I’m moving out soon and looking for someone to take over my room in our lovely LGBT-friendly house between Clapham and Brixton. The room’s available from November, though I can also sublet for a couple of weeks from 19th October if that helps with timing.

The Room:
It’s a good-sized double room with a new bed frame and mattress, a big wardrobe, and a chest of drawers. A desk can be added (to be negotiated) if you need one.

The House:
We’ve got a three-floor house, and your room would be on the top floor right across the hall to the main bathroom (which has a bath with an overhead shower, toilet, and basin). There is a second toilet on the ground floor.

Location:
Super well connected and easy to get around London:
• 10 mins’ walk to Clapham North (Northern Line)
• 10 mins’ walk to Clapham High Street (Overground)
• 13 mins’ walk to Brixton (Victoria Line)

Loads of great shops(Lidl and Tesco are 5 mins away), pubs and cafés nearby, plus Clapham Common is really close — perfect for summer hangouts.

The Housemates:
You’ll be living with Ryhan, Pedro and Tom, all in our mid-twenties and working full-time in professional jobs. Everyone’s super chill, friendly and easy to get along with. It’s not a party house, but when everyone’s home at the same time, we usually have a chat in the kitchen or sometimes head to Clapham Common/Brockwell Park together when it’s sunny.

Rent & Bills:
• Deposit: £1,066
• Rent: £770 pcm (likely to go up slightly to £780)
• Bills: around £100–£150 pcm
• Cleaner: £16 pcm (bi-weekly)
