Room Available in New Build Brixton Flat

Hey everyone! I’m seeking a flatmate to join me in Brixton. I’ve lived here for a year already (and love it), it has an incredible view of the London skyline (perfect for NYE), my room has an en suite so you’d get your own bathroom (it’s very spacious, with a bath too), and you also get your own access to the balcony.

The flat is close to both Brixton and Clapham Common stations (a ten min bus ride to each), there’s also a Tescos and Sainsburys right down the road. It comes with washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, wifi etc.

A bit about me - I’m 33, from Melbourne, Australia and have lived in London just over seven years now. I’m gay, a big reader, and love movies (have a MUBI weekly ticket, you’re welcome to join!). For work, I’m a video producer - I mainly produce short documentaries about architecture and engineering (let me know if you’re an architecture buff). I work from home for the most part, occasionally going out for shoots.

Looking for an LGBT-friendly, tidy, respectful flatmate I can share a drink with. Occasional housemate dinner would be perfect but also happy to keep to myself.

Your name would go on the lease alongside mine, so you have to be able to pass the agency’s checks etc. Bills and rent altogether come to about £1300 most months.

The room is available from the 1st of December, although if you need to move in earlier that may be doable. You would be signing a 12 month lease with me, happy to answer any questions about it.

Your room comes unfurnished so you’ll need to get a bed. I’ve managed to fit a king size bed in my room and so has the previous tenant.
