THE ROOM

We have available a large & modern double room to rent. It is very private & quiet, being on its own floor at the top of the house, with its own private en suite. The two skylights and Juliette balcony make it naturally bright and feel spacious, with views across the rooftops towards Brockwell Park.

It comes fully furnished with King size bed (less than 6 months old with 4 x storage drawers), bedside tables, wardrobe, and desk. The room also benefits from eaves storage areas off the room itself and off the en suite, useful for storing things like seasonal clothes, suitcases, etc.

THE HOUSE

Bright and spacious Victorian conversion house very close to buzzy Brixton Market, and 8 mins walk to Brixton tube (Victoria Line).

The house is decorated to a high standard with hardwood flooring, a modern kitchen and high quality furnishings throughout. It has a large double living area with big flat screen TV, open plan kitchen/diner, and bifold doors which open up the whole of the back of the house onto the patio garden - great for summer evenings and BBQs.

INCLUDED in the rent:

1. ALL BILLS: Council tax, water, gas, electricity, high speed internet, TV license.
2. THE COST OF A CLEANER: weekly, for communal areas and shared bathrooms
3. A QUARTERLY SUNDRIES DELIVERY: this covers all cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, loo roll, bin liners etc etc in the house so there isn’t argument about who pays for them! 
4. GARDENER

The house has 5 others living in it, currently 4 male and 1 female. We are looking for a FEMALE ONLY to join us, to balance out the male/female ratios. We are all professionals working full time. Mostly this is out of the home although a few do work from home once a week. We have become friends since living together, we hang out in the evenings together and cook, watch tv, have a glass of wine etc. We are looking for someone who is similar. It’s not a party house but it is a friendly, sociable house.
