Looking for lodger in home w/ Cat in Brixton

Hiii

My names Ruby I'm 32, from Brixton. We have a room available in our house from mid December flexible for move in date between then & the beginning of January.

Its me and my mums home but we both work & travel a lot! I spend around half to 2/3 of the year in Portugal and my mum spends her time coming back and forward from Ghana and is away around half the year too.

When we are in London we both work a lot, my mum runs a community arts organisation that works with kids & the community in arts, music & theatre. I work with her there too plus do my own art work & illustration. In Ghana she runs a guest house and beach bar with her husband, and in Portugal i work remotely doing arty stuff, planning kids holiday projects and surfing as much as i can! We are busy bees but have a super cosy home we are back and forth from, and a tabby cat called Bubs who's around 11 years old.

We've been very lucky to have had many amazing lodgers over the last 12 years and the house has been a home to loads of lovely people from around the world so its not a new thing, its very much been our lifestyle for a long time. And we've met some of our favourite people here on spare room! 🥰

We're super relaxed, work hard, travel lots. We're looking for our next lovely lodger to share the house with and also someone that is comfortable and happy to be responsible for looking after the house (and Bubs) for periods of time when we are both away.

The house is in Brixton just off acre lane, SW25AB on a super friendly street just 10-12 minutes walking to Brixton tube or Clapham north.

The rent is cheap for £600 per month + £50 contribution to bills. We are looking for someone who loves cats, as part of the time you'll have the house to yourself. For example whole of January - mid February. So part of the deal for cheap rent is also to fed and look after Bubs, although no pressure if your ever going away for a few days or longer I have family / friends around to come by and feed him too!
