Bedroom in Brixton Hill until May 2026

One bed in a two bedroom maisonette in Brixton Hill available from December 2025 to May 2026.

I am looking for someone to rent the spare room in my flat between housemates. The flat, over two floors with it’s own front door, has a separate living room and kitchen. My bedroom on the top (second) floor is en-suite, and the other bathroom on first floor is essentially yours (though sometimes used by guests). The flat is on a quiet road, a 12 minute walk or 5 minute (very regular) bus to Brixton station, and less than 10 minutes to Brockwell Park, with a local pub and supermarket nearby.

The room is furnished with a bed including mattress, bedside table, and wardrobe with hanging space (the chest of drawers and desk in the photos will be removed). The flat has a dishwasher, washing machine and desk in the living room for working from home (as well my separate office).

Bills, which are usually £140 per month (including council tax, band C), are excluded.

I have a gap between two housemates and therefore looking for someone to rent the other room in the interim. I have recently started a new job and am in the office in the City 4 or 5 days a week. I am often quite busy during the week seeing friends and exploring London, and further beyond at weekends.

I am a keen sportsman, mainly cricket, football, squash and rugby, as well as being a big theatre and history fan. I also love visiting south London's various pubs!
