I’m putting together a like-minded group to rent an incredible newly renovated 4-bed house in SW2, just moments from Brockwell Park, a 10-minute walk/bus to Brixton Station and around 18 minutes to Herne Hill.
This isn’t a random room-by-room let — the aim is to build a great house with the right people.

2 big doubles + 2 huge doubles, all ensuite
Underfloor heating in all bathrooms
Big open kitchen-diner, plus a separate lounge
Decent-sized back garden (BBQs very welcome)
Modern, well-finished throughout
Unfurnished, aside from built-in wardrobes
The landlord is experienced, professional, and genuinely sound — everything will be set up properly from the start.
Move-in likely February, subject to standard checks. Deposit is one month’s rent.
I’m a 45-year-old professional moving back to London for work and life. I come with two excellent cats (non-negotiable — you’ve got to like cats, they’re part of the deal 🐈🐈).
I’m into fitness, festivals, travel, cooking, sport, and a good local pub. I work a mix of office and WFH, I’m clean, tidy, respectful, and I value both social time and proper downtime. I currently have a 3-bed place outside London, so I can help part-furnish communal areas if useful.
This is about creating a home — not a student let, not a silent monastery, and not a 3-day rave either.
Ideally 3 professionals (or 2 singles + a couple) who:
Want a social but emotionally intelligent house
Are happy with dinner parties, mates over, the odd party or BBQ and equally happy with quiet weekends and early nights when needed
Communicate openly and treat the house — and each other — with respect
Costs
Total house rent: £4,750 pcm
Bills estimated £150–£200 pp
Big doubles: approx £1,100
Huge doubles: approx £1,300
A couple taking a huge double would be slightly higher
I’m happy to be the lead tenant, manage bills, utilities, and keep things running smoothly.
