Ensuite in friendly house -Brockwell Park/Brixton

I’m (very sadly!) moving out and looking for someone to take over my ensuite room in this amazing house-share in a private gated mews literally right next to Brockwell Park. I’ve lived here for four years and only leaving because made the big decision to buy my own place

The room

The room is a spacious double with an ensuite and lots of storage including a big two-door wardrobe/cupboard. Plenty of space for a desk /WFH setup and generally make it your own.

The house

The house is right by Brockwell Park with an entrance just a 2-minute walk away. We also have a garden that’s perfect for soaking up the sun and hosting BBQs in the summer. It’s fully furnished with all the mod cons you’d expect (dishwasher, washing machine, TV)

You’ll be moving in with three amazing gals - Rhiannon, Emma and Gerri - all in their mid-late 20s / early 30s,

Everyone is very sociable and likes to hang out when they’re in the house and enjoy a good movie night or a gig, trip to the pub etc. Would be lovely to have a friend move in rather just someone to live with!

Everyone’s jobs mean they’re in the office most week days so you’ll often have the house to yourself during the day if you do work from home!

You'll also be moving in with a very friendly neighbourhood cat (Waffles),who technically belongs to our neighbours but loves coming in for cuddles!

💫 About you

We’re ideally looking for another girl in her mid-to-late twenties / early thirties who’s keen to hang out as a flat when around, but also has her own thing going on. We’re regulars at the pub quiz at Effra Social, so bonus points if you’re up for joining - what’s your specialist subject?

Ideally you’re someone who is fairly tidy and respectful of people’s space, and willing to chip in with cleaning and booking the pub quiz!

Location

The house is in a great location - it’s a 15-minute walk to Brixton (Victoria line), Herne Hill and Tulse Hill stations (thameslink), plus we’re on a central bus route so super easy to get anywhere in London. The Victoria line is on the night tube so easy to get home late (with a McDonalds en route)

Herne Hill has a lovely farmers’ market every Sunday, great pubs and independent shops. Brixton offers loads of amazing food spots, bars and coffee places (especially Brixton Village). Being in a gated mews also means it’s generally really quiet and peaceful despite being so central!

• Bills are usually around £130 per month, including council tax, internet, water, gas & electric

• The room will be available from 20th February, with a bit of flexibility on dates
