A stunning room is soon available in our beautiful period house, next to Brockwell Park. Bittersweet to be leaving after 5 great years here to move in with my partner.

The rent is a steal (£892.5 per month), with bills (£150ish) - making it around £1050 per month in total.

There's also a weekly cleaner included in the rent.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD:

We are tucked away on a suburban side street, off of the main road – so it’s very peaceful, quiet and safe.

The house is super well-connected, and the location couldn’t be more ideal:

* Brixton station - 10 minute walk
* Herne Hill station - 15 minute walk
* Brockwell Park - 3 minute walk (dreamy for lunch break walks)
* Brockwell Lido - 10 minute walk
* Big Sainsburys - 2 minute walk

Plus there's some really well-served bus stops that take you all over London.

THE HOUSE:

* Very spacious, well-designed, and has a lot of character.

* Large living room with comfy sofas, where you can watch TV or enjoy some downtime.

* Large, rustic open-plan kitchen, with a well-sized dining table. Probably my favourite room in the house.

* Huge garden - a leafy green paradise, maintained by gardeners every few months. We have cute decking that you can sunbathe or do yoga on, enjoy a morning coffee at the table and chairs, or a glass of wine at night under the fairy lights. Now and then, we also have garden parties – including pre-drinks for Mighty Hoopla every year – and it’s a great space for this.

THE ROOM:

* The double room is big and bright, with a large bay window overlooking our olive tree and quiet residential street. Summers are gorgeous.

* Comes with a queen-size bed, wardrobe, cupboard, desk (perfect for working from home) and 2x mirrors (one standing, one wall-mounted).

THE FLATMATES:

* Tibo (26) - data scientist and baking whizz

* Georgina (31) - drama therapist and pink paintress

* Fernando (39) - personal assistant and Brazilian diva

YOU:

* Young professional of a similar age (28-40 years-old is our age range).

* LGBTQ+ or an ally. All flatmates identify as LGBTQ+, so it's important that you are a friendly face.

* Good energy. We're not a party house, but we do like to chat in the kitchen every so often. We make an effort to have a flat social once a month to stay connected during our busy London lives.

* Responsible. We expect you to not leave a pile of dishes by the sink, or tons of crumbs on the kitchen counter.

* Move-in date: Weekend of 28 March (negotiable)

* Deposit: £775 (plus a one-time £50 name-change fee)

* Rent and bills: £1050 per month total
