Modern Double Room Brixton / Clapham

The room is fully furnished, light and modern, offering plenty of storage and a separate loft area perfect for extra storage. You’ll have access to the living room, a large kitchen/dining area, and a fantastic roof terrace. The flat is situated on a quiet road just off Acre Lane, ideally located within a 10-12 minute walk of both Clapham North and Brixton tube stations, making it easy to get around the city.

Clapham and Brixton offer a great variety of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, gyms, and cinemas. Clapham Common's green open spaces are nearby. Acre Lane has a variety of local shops, takeaways, and a Lidl just a few minutes walk away, with Sainsbury’s and Tesco within easy reach.

The flat is owner-occupied, and you’ll be sharing with me and one other person. I’m Simon, 42, an ex-professional dancer now working as a part-time Virtual Assistant and part-time Massage Therapist. My flatmate Cletus is 30, originally from Hong Kong, and is a Musical Theatre Performer. We’re both easy-going, sociable and enjoy spending time with friends, whether it’s having a quiet evening at home or hosting occasional dinner gatherings; however, this is not a party house. When I’m not working, I enjoy yoga, swimming, keeping fit, travelling, and going to the theatre. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly home, but we welcome people from all backgrounds.

The room is available from Sunday, 1st March 2026 but it could be sooner as my current flatmate has some flexibility on move dates.

Rent: £1,200 per month + bills.
Bills: Roughly £120 per month.
Deposit: £1,200.
