Seeking a lodger for large double bedroom, with use of adjacent bathroom (shared with very low maintenance au pair) in relatively recently converted loft, in light and airy 5 bedroom terraced family home on a quiet street in Brixton.

Large bedroom (approx 12’ x 10’), with king-size bed, big chest of drawers, hanging rail and use of adjacent bathroom (shared with very tidy and low maintenance au-pair!), with lovely walk-in shower with excellent water pressure.

Kitchen has a large dining table, all the usual mod-cons, with French doors opening out onto a patio and garden. Upstairs, there is a small but perfectly formed laundry room, with washing machine and dryer.

Very well connected for central London - by bus, tube, train or bicycle. Excellent links into the City and out of London via Brixton, Clapham Common / Junction, Streatham stations and, a bit further afield, Tulse / Herne Hill. Well located for buses all over London - too many to list…! On-street parking requires a permit.

Positioned on a quiet but friendly street just off Brixton Hill but only a 25 minute walk (or shorter bus ride) to Brixton, where you’ll find numerous pubs and restaurants, Ritzy Cinema and Brockwell Lido, and a 15 minute bus ride to Clapham Old Town and Abbeville Road. Equidistant between Brockwell Park, Clapham and Tooting Commons.

I live here with my 7 year old son and au pair, and work from home one day a week.

Would suit either a full-time individual - £875pcm, or Monday-Friday - £625pcm, preferably a working professional in their late 20s/30/40s, who mainly goes into the office. All bills included: water, broadband, council tax, gas, electricity, and weekly cleaner who will change bed linen fortnightly. Available 1 March.
